Let's Groove!
''Let's Groove'' is a drumming workshop for any level of learners, musicians and non-musicians, in the city of Birmingham, run by Ilias. The idea is to share the delight of playing drums in a simply taught way. We aim to create a joyful and therapeutic environment that supports communication and team working skills, based on a fun and creative way. Everyone who's looking for an uplifting, educational and memorable experience is welcome.
During the workshop, we talk about the history of percussive instruments, we learn basic techniques and basic patterns of different percussions from around the world and we play songs all together under the direction of Ilias.
Any age welcome.
Instruments provided but you are welcome to bring any percussive instrument you want to.
